Brief History
The AUSTRALIAN LOTTERY held it's first Draw on June 22, 1972 and was played only in the state of Victoria. It wasn't until 1975 that the Lottery became popular and had turned into a favorite national pastime. Such was the Lottery's success, it's now played in all 6 Australian States and 2 Territories. |

Not every Draw turns up a JACKPOT PRIZE winner. When this happens, the JACKPOT PRIZE amount is added to the Jackpot amount in the next Draw. This means when you're the JACKPOT PRIZE winner in the next Draw, the amount you win is at least doubled.
But the biggest Draw of all is the SUPERDRAW which takes place 4 or 5 times a year.
